NEW SIMPLEX SAND THERMAL REGENERATION PLANT IN BRAZIL
SECOND THERMAL SAND REGENERATION PLANT IN TUPY
SOGEMI has been chosen for the second time by Tupy as supplier for a sand thermal regeneration plant.
In year 2008 SOGEMI supplied a thermal regeneration plant to Tupy's facility in Mauà and in 2014 another one for its facility in Joinville which has this August 2015 been succesfully started up.
The sand thermal regeneration plant Simplex 5000 is used to reclaim the cores formed with COLD - BOX and SHELL process and has an output of 6 t/h.
Thanks to the efficient thermal exchange between fluidification air and sand exiting the combustion chamber present on the SOGEMI plant, Tupy regenerates 100% of sand with a natural gas consumption of 18 m3 per ton of treated sand.
SOGEMI is reconfirmed as a leader on sand thermal regeneration technology.
